Your privacy and transparency in data management are fundamental to us. This Privacy Policy describes how the GameScore application handles the information entered.
Important Summary: GameScore works exclusively offline. All data related to scores, team names, and aesthetic settings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any information to external servers or third parties.
1. Data Collection and Use
The GameScore application is designed to help you track scores during your favorite sports activities directly on your smartphone.
- No Personal Data Required: The application does not require the creation of an account, nor does it collect personally identifiable information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or sensitive data.
- Local Game Data: Information entered (team or player names, current scores, and game history) is saved exclusively in your device's local memory.
- Customization: Your graphic preferences (score colors, backgrounds, and font sizes) are stored locally via the app's settings (SharedPreferences).
2. Local Processing and Offline Functionality
GameScore operates as a fully local utility tool.
- The app does not require an internet connection to function.
- Since the data never leaves your device, it is technically impossible for us or anyone else to access, view, or analyze your scores or game history.
- The use of Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode takes place entirely on the device without external data exchange.
3. Data Security
Data is stored using standard Android storage technologies. The security of the information depends on the physical and logical protection of your device (PIN, password, or biometrics). By uninstalling the application, all saved data and preferences will be permanently removed from the device.
4. Permissions
The application only requires the minimum permissions necessary for the Android system to function correctly (such as managing PiP mode). Access to contacts, camera, microphone, or GPS location is not requested.
5. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in the future to reflect any new features. Any updates will still maintain the "Privacy by Design" approach and the offline functioning philosophy.
